Roger Cervantes

Roger Cervantes  is the Rising Tide Capital’s Director of Programs. Upon receiving his degree in Religion at Montclair State University, he went on to work for Bank of America, providing low-income workers with access to financial services as a CRA (Community Reinvestment Act) Representative & Assistant Branch Manager.  In addition to his passion for economic development, he also brings more than 7 years of combined experience in Retail Management and as an Executive Assistant in the fields of Labor and Community Development.  Roger started working at Rising Tide Capital in 2010, as a Program Coordinator, and most recently served as a Program Director of The Business Acceleration Services. As a long-time Jersey City resident, Roger deeply admires the important role that Rising Tide Capital plays in his community and looks forward to helping the organization further its mission.
