Mabel Nunez

My name is Mabel Nunez and I am the CEO & Founder of Girl$ on The Money – A stock market investing education company for women. Men are also welcome, we don’t discriminate ;).

I have been passionate about stock investing for well over a decade. My family, friends, and pretty much everyone that knows me can probably tell you about my borderline obsession with the stock market and teaching others how to understand it and start participating. I am a true believer that anyone can learn to invest regardless of socio-economic background or level of education.

I was introduced to the stock market for the first time as a senior in college – a semester before my college graduation. However, I didn’t actually start to invest until a few years later during the financial crisis of 2008, which turned out to be perfect timing.
I like to refer to myself as a “first generation” investor considering no one in my family or circle of friends had ever invested before. I feel that one of my most important life missions is to spread the knowledge of investing education to anyone that will listen.
Through my blog, social media channels, and live events, I offer ongoing content focused on investing education and everything wealth-building related.
